    SARASOTA, Fla., April 26 /PRNewswire/ -- Uniroyal Technology Corporation
 (Nasdaq: UTCI) today announced that its Uniroyal Optoelectronics (UOE)
 division has named Advanced Semiconductor Process Integration Co. Ltd (ASPI)
 as its distributor for high brightness light emitting diode (HB LED) products
 in South Korea.
     Seok-Keun Yoon, President, William Choi, Vice President and Strategic
 Marketing Director for Semiconductor and Display products, and Yi-Tae Kim,
 Marketing Manager, are the principals of ASPI specializing in various segments
 of the compound semiconductor and optoelectronics industry.  Mr. Choi will be
 UOE's primary representative in South Korea.  Mr. Choi has an in depth
 knowledge of the Korean compound semiconductor market.   His experience
 includes process engineering for Varian and serving as System and Process
 Manager for IPS Ltd., formerly Chungson System.
