UnitedHealth Group Awards Contract to Express Scripts to Provide Pharmacy Services to AARP Members

    ST. LOUIS, April 19 /PRNewswire/ -- Express Scripts, Inc. (Nasdaq:   ESRX)
 announced today that it has signed a five-year contract with UnitedHealth
 Group (NYSE:   UNH) to make available comprehensive mail, retail network, and
 other pharmacy services to members of AARP.  Effective June 1, 2001, Express
 Scripts will provide pharmacy mail services, network management, and claims
 processing to members currently using the AARP Pharmacy Service.  The company
 will also support and collaborate with UnitedHealth Group on advanced clinical
 programs and educational activities for AARP members.

 (Retired Persons Services, Inc.), and lease RPS's mail fulfillment center in
 Horsham, Pennsylvania.
