USA Digital, Inc. Applies for Patent on 'Ultra Fast High Density Computer'

Apr 05, 2001, 01:00 ET from USA Digital, Inc.

    ORLANDO, Fla., April 5 /PRNewswire/ --
USA Digital (OTC Bulletin Board: UDIG) announced today that it has filed for a
patent with the U.S. Patent office for an "Ultra Fast High Density Low Profile
Computer (UHLC)." The revolutionary design overcomes the traditional problems
with heat and allows for the positioning of two (2) high-speed processors
along with AGP and PCI risers, high-end graphics and dual network cards.
This design has widespread applications where there is a need for
significant processing power (+/- 2-gigahertz) combined with ultra high-
resolution graphics, utilizing a very compact unit that retains minimal heat,
such as the aerospace, commercial, educational, entertainment, industrial,
medical, military, and nautical industries. It can also support the needs of
sophisticated users that require extremely high processing power without an
 environmentally controlled data center.
     Dimensions are 13.5" wide x 10" deep x 3.5" high.
USA Digital President Mark Cobb, stated, "What makes this unique is the
ventilation and heat transfer system that allows for the packaging of so much
processing power into such a compact unit."
Mr. Cobb further stated, "Despite the fact that this product was developed
as a business solution to better service our existing clients, the Company
will be setting up a new subsidiary to take advantage of and to focus on the
enormous market and revenue opportunities this exciting new product
represents. The potential market for this product is phenomenal."
The high-end graphics output of the UHLC provides a powerful tool for
real-time simulation of medical procedures for medical professional training,
military training, industrial applications, real-time molecular modeling,
protein folding, X-ray crystallographic and video rendering applications.
USA Digital, Inc. (www.usa-digital.com) is a rapidly growing, highly
integrated communications provider utilizing a roll-up/acquisition strategy
that will address the rapidly expanding communication demands of small- to
 medium-sized businesses.
