Apr 19, 2001, 01:00 ET from US Industrial Services, Inc.

HOUSTON, April 19 /PRNewswire/ -- US Industrial Services, Inc.
(OTC Bulletin Board: USIS) announced the signing of a Letter of Intent to
acquire Stratacom Design Services ("SDS") of Houston, Texas. SDS provides a
complete offering of design and engineering services to the wireless
communications industry. The consideration for SDS is cash and 1,750,000
newly issued common shares of USIS stock.
Regarding this transaction, President and CEO Frank J. Fradella stated,
"SDS will complement USIS' corporate strategy, enabling the company to provide
its customers with 'front-end' design and build out strategies. SDS services
include, in part, site survey, geo-technical analysis, regulatory application,
site design, tower design and tower analysis. In offering these features,
USIS is better positioned to provide integrated communications infrastructure
 services to its client constituency."
Julia Schnell, Executive Vice President of Stratacom Design Services,
noted, "The impact of a service geography consisting of engineers licensed in
thirty states should compliment the USIS infrastructure strategy. SDS is
poised to leverage its engineering relationships across the customer base of
the growing USIS communications infrastructure service team. Vertical
integration of the wireless build out will allow our customers the opportunity
to streamline their infrastructure requirements. Everyone at SDS is excited
about participating in the USIS strategy focused on the communications
 infrastructure sector."
Pending further due diligence, USIS expects to complete this transaction
within the next few months. Furthermore, as previously announced, the Company
continues to pursue the acquisition of Stratacom Engineers & Constructors and
Apache Telecom, LP, both providers of wireless infrastructure services.
