NEW YORK, April 2 /PRNewswire/ -- Integrated marketing company
VentureDirect Worldwide announced today it has won all of Chemical Week
Publication's subscriber list management business with the acquisition of the
titles Chemical Engineering, Soap & Cosmetics, Oil & Gas Investor, Hart's E&P
Magazine, Energy Markets, Modern Plastics, Modern Paint & Coatings, and Modern
Mold & Tooling. VentureDirect has managed Chemical Week since 1995 and
secured its Adhesives Age and Lubricants World files not long afterwards. Now
Chemical Week Publications has entrusted VentureDirect to maximize revenue for
its entire family of subscriber-based properties.
"These are the kind of super-targeted, industry-standard publications that
are so attractive to our many customers who want to reach decision-makers in
these fields," said Anthony DiNino, Sales Manager of the List Services Group.
"We have a twenty-year history of business-to-business direct marketing, so we
have hit the ground running with these files."
The addition of the Chemical Week lists comes on the heels of a slew of
recent list acquisitions, bringing to 25 the number of lists obtained since
January, 2001 including Whatever Works, Webstakes and WinDough.com.
"We've used VentureDirect List Services Group since 1995, and have always
enjoyed great results," said Shane Malloy, V.P. Circulation for Chemical Week.
"It makes sense to let them do the same for the rest of our files."
Henry DiSciullo, V.P. of the List Services Group, believes the reason for
VentureDirect's success lies partly in the massive company-wide client and
prospect base. "As an integrated marketing company, we have a total of
15 divisions managing and selling direct response media, both online and
offline. Our sales force makes thousands of calls each day and logs all
calls, resulting in a proprietary client and prospect base that no other list
 management firm can equal."
