Victor Industries Announces Audit Delay During Tax Season Crunch

Apr 26, 2001, 01:00 ET from Victor Industries, Inc.

MISSOULA, Mont., April 26 /PRNewswire/ -- Victor Industries
(OTC Bulletin Board: VICIE) announced today that it has had an E designation
placed on its symbol. The company will be late on its audit due to heavy
business volume seen by its auditor because of tax season. Every major
accounting firm in the country faces similar workloads at this time of the
year. Victor Industries will trade under VICIE until the audit is complete.
Victor Industries fully expects to be trading under VICI within a few weeks.
"We want our shareholders to know that this is an administrative delay and
is in no way indicative of the progress the company is making," says
Penny Sperry, Treasurer and a Director of Victor. "We are making excellent
progress in the fundamental areas of the business and ask that VICI
shareholders keep up with our developments."

Victor Industries, Inc. is in the business of producing and selling a
proprietary compound that reduces pollution by absorbing nitrates and
phosphates. This compound is being used to develop a number of products,
including one that reduces groundwater pollution in large animal feeding
operations. These types of operations are the focus of the proposed new and
stricter guidelines which the EPA intends to apply to dairy, pig, chicken, and
turkey farms. New products with widespread applications are currently under
 development.
