Videonet Inks Deal with New Regency

Major US Independent Studio Joins UK's Leading Video-On-Demand Platform

 Networks today announced that it has secured an output agreement with Regency
 Enterprises, one of the most significant independent Hollywood studios.  The
 three-year deal will add a number of Regency's library and current features to
 the extensive Video Networks film catalog, including "Fight Club," starring
 Brad Pitt, "Pushing Tin," starring John Cusack, and "Entrapment," with Sean
 Connery and Catherine Zeta Jones.  The deal, adding to the company's existing
 relationships with Sony, Disney, Warner Bros., MGM and Universal, as well as
 other independent distributors, means that subscribers to Video Networks'
 HomeChoice service currently have approximately 1000 films available on
 demand.

 acquisition team of Donna Brett and Larry Hess.  Brett, UK head of
 acquisitions, joined Video Networks from Warner Brothers International last
 year and Hess, her US counterpart, from Columbia TriStar International
