Vie de France Light Meals to Be Standard Fare On US Airways Shuttle Flights

    ARLINGTON, Va., April 30 /PRNewswire/ -- US Airways Shuttle and Vie de
 France are working together to bring business-day travelers a special new
 lunch and dinner light-meal service beginning April 30, 2001.
     The freshly prepared meals will be provided during lunch and dinner hours,
 Monday through Friday on US Airways Shuttle's hourly flights between Boston
 Logan International and New York's La Guardia Airport, between Washington
 Ronald Reagan National Airport and La Guardia, and between Boston and
 Washington.
     Customers will be offered the meal from a US Airways Shuttle flight
 attendant as they board the aircraft, providing the flexibility for a customer
 to eat at his or her own schedule.
     "A missing ingredient in the day of an on-the-go business traveler all too
 often is a good freshly-prepared meal.  We are changing that by offering our
 customers high-quality fresh food on selected US Airways Shuttle flights each

     The light Vie de France meals will include a gourmet sandwich, a cookie,
 potato chips, and bottled water.  Sandwiches are freshly prepared daily on Vie
 de France's own high-quality bread.  The selection will be rotated regularly
 to provide the most frequent travelers greater variety.
     Vie de France will provide soft and sweet chocolate chunk cookies, reduced
 fat Cape Cod potato chips and 8 oz. bottles of Crystal Geyser natural alpine
 spring water as part of the light-meal service.
     During breakfast hours each business day, Shuttle customers will continue
 to receive fresh bagels with Philadelphia Cream Cheese, and during non-meal
 hours, "Le Petit Snack", a combination of cheese, crackers, and a raisin mix.
 Complimentary beer and wine are offered after 10 a.m., and an assortment of
 juices, sodas, and Evian Water are offered throughout the day.

         assigned seats.  E-ticket Check-In Kiosks also are available for
         speedier check-in at the three Shuttle airports -- Washington Reagan
