MANCHESTER-BY-THE-SEA, Mass., Aug. 4, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Since 2011, Warner Communications and The International Window Film Association (IWFA) have creatively worked hand-in-hand to build momentum for professionally installed window film products as a cost-effective energy saving solution for consumer audiences.

At a fraction of the cost of replacement windows and installed on the inside or outside, window film is made from a thin polyester layer often with many high tech coatings resulting in multiple benefits, from heat rejection and the reduction of both glare and fading to helping to hold glass fragments together after a breakage.

"When it comes to expanding the market awareness of window films, Warner Communications really gets it and together we have built a strong partnership that is moving the industry forward," said Darrell Smith, executive director of the IWFA.

With the upcoming celebration of the International Window Film Association's (IWFA) 25th anniversary, Warner Communications is excited to see steady progress being made toward more consumer awareness of window films.  With the IWFA's website as the central information hub, both consumer and industry professionals may learn more about the many uses of window films in the residential and commercial markets and connect directly to an IWFA member Dealer / Installer, Distributor or Manufacturer from the new website that Warner updated for today's mobile savvy users.

"Through the effective deployment of many different communication vehicles, we are delighted to see so much progress in an entire category of products being made with our target audiences," said Steve Capoccia, Account Director at Warner Communications. "We look forward to celebrating the 25th year for the IWFA and see its continued growth," he added.

The development of a variety of successful communication programs to expand the reputation of the IWFA is one of the proudest achievements for the partnership. Among the initiatives that the Warner team has created includes  National Window Film Day, extensive media relations campaigns resulting in coverage from high-level consumer magazines, developing  a trade magazine called the IWFA View, as well as a very strong social media strategy involving Facebook, Twitter, and videos on its YouTube channel . The IWFA (www.iwfa.com) is a non-profit organization representing dealers and distributors of window films as well as manufacturers such as 3M, Eastman Chemical, Hanita Coatings, Johnson Laminating & Coating, Madico Window Films, KDX Optical Material, and Saint-Gobain/Solar Gard.
