    ACTON, Mass., April 2 /PRNewswire/ -- WaveSmith Networks, an emerging
 company focused on redefining multiservice switching for carriers, announced
 today the addition of Frank Fiorillo as Vice President of Customer Support.
 In his role, Frank will be the driving force in further growing WaveSmith's
 customer support team.  In other news, Pamela DiMarzio Nelson was promoted to
 Vice President of Corporate Marketing.

     Frank brings more than 20 years of customer support and training
 leadership to WaveSmith.  Prior to joining WaveSmith, Frank was Senior
 Director of Customer Support and Training at Broadband Access Systems, which
 was acquired by ADC, where he built the entire technical support team for the
 company's IP access switch and cable modem termination system.  Before ADC, he
 was Director of Technical Support and Training at NetPhone, Inc. While at
 NetPhone, Frank was instrumental in building both the technical support and
 VAR/OEM training programs. Frank has also held director level
 customer/technical support positions at CrossComm Corporation, Wellfleet
 Communications, and Prime Computer, Inc where he was responsible for growing
 and managing multi-million dollar service businesses.
