West Corporation Opens Contact Center In Pensacola, Florida

    OMAHA, Neb., April 3 /PRNewswire/ -- West Corporation (Nasdaq: WSTC) or
 "West," a leading provider of innovative full service customer care solutions
 using the latest in voice and Internet technology, has announced it will open
 a contact center in Pensacola, FL bringing approximately 700 jobs to the
 region.
     The 57,000 square-foot facility, located at 5031 Commerce Park Circle, was
 purchased by West in January.  Training classes began in February and the
 center will be fully operational by April 1, 2001.
     Today's announcement was welcomed by Governor Jeb Bush of Florida, "West
 Corporation's decision to expand into Pensacola will have a significant impact
 on the area.  The contact center will have a total annual payroll estimated at
 $13 million, creating an estimated economic impact of more than $20 million."
