WGM Head of Corporate Transfers to London Announces New Head for New York Corporate Department

    NEW YORK, April 30 /PRNewswire/ -- Weil, Gotshal & Manges LLP, one of the
 world's leading law firms, today announced that Stephen E. Jacobs, head of the
 Firm's Corporate Department will be relocating from New York to its London
 office in July to assist in the development of the Firm's growing
 international Corporate practice.
     WGM also announced that Thomas A. Roberts has become the head of the
 Firm's New York Corporate Department.
     Mr. Jacobs, WGM's most experienced mergers and acquisitions lawyer, has
 over 30 years of experience in corporate takeovers, including both hostile and
 negotiated transactions, representing bidders, targets and bankers.  Mr.
 Jacobs is recognized by such publications as "Chambers Global - The World's
