    NEW YORK, April 20 /PRNewswire/ -- Getting older isn't just a demographic
trend; it's getting downright trendy. And one of the side effects is that
seniors are remaining in the workforce long after traditional retirement age.
Take Robbie Eisenberg, for instance. Like millions of Americans, Robbie gets
up most mornings and heads to the office-remarkable because he is 103 years
old, a fact that last year earned him the title of America's Oldest Worker.
Today older Americans make up ten percent of the workforce but account for
22 percent of the nation's job growth since 1995. Through its annual National
Prime Time Awards Program, Green Thumb recognizes America's oldest worker and
an outstanding older worker from every state. Right now, the search is on for
Robbie Eisenberg's successor. To be eligible, nominees must work 20 hours a
week in paid employment. Nomination forms are available at
 www.greenthumb.org.
