MADISON, Wis., April 23 /PRNewswire Interactive News Release / --
Wingra Technologies, a wholly owned subsidiary of Commtouch (Nasdaq: CTCH),
announced today that Advocate Health Care, the largest fully integrated
not-for-profit health care delivery system in Chicago, has implemented
Wingra's solutions to meet their enterprise migration and integration needs.
Advocate Health Care has licensed Wingra's Enterprise Migrator(TM) to
ensure smooth communication between Advocate's existing e-mail systems and
ease the transition to a consolidated environment. Enterprise Migrator(TM)
provides a full coexistence and directory synchronization solution throughout
the migration process, which allows for a seamless migration that can be
implemented in smaller, more manageable batches. It supports migrations from
Lotus cc:Mail, Lotus Notes, Microsoft Exchange, and Novell GroupWise and
supports migrations to any IMAP or POP system and Microsoft Exchange.
Advocate Health Care consists of various health care facilities, most with
their own messaging systems including cc:Mail, iPlanet, Exchange and Notes.
Wingra's solutions will allow facilities maintaining their existing
mail system to seamlessly communicate with the facilities migrating to the new
environment. This is achieved through an automated directory synchronizing
solution that maintains connectivity throughout the migration from cc:Mail to
 iPlanet.
"We have a complex messaging environment and needed to guarantee that mail
flowed seamlessly between our users during the migration process, and that
critical data stored in our cc:Mail environment was carried forward to the new
iPlanet system," said Gary Horn, Manager of Network Services for
Advocate Health Care. "Wingra implemented Enterprise Migrator(TM), their full
integration, directory synchronization, and migration solution. This has
allowed us to proceed with the migration at our own pace and provides us a
full integration infrastructure during the migration process and after the
 migration is complete."
"Advocate Health Care came to Wingra with a requirement for a full
messaging integration and migration solution," said Jan Eddy, President of
Wingra Technologies. "Wingra had the perfect combination of software
technology and professional services to implement a solution that met these
diverse needs. Wingra's breadth and depth of experience in the messaging
industry provides Advocate the advantages of working with a single vendor
partner for all their disparate messaging environment issues."
