"Enhancing our advertisements with Wink is a cost effective way for Thane
to add value to our existing creative materials and media buys," said
Marty M. Fahncke, Vice President of Internet Marketing, Thane. "The added
interaction allows us to establish an immediate and direct connection with
viewers that we did not have before. We expect to see an increase in response
to our advertisements as it is now much easier for viewers to act -- just
press a button on the remote and the order request is done."
Wink's enhanced TV technology gives viewers a free and convenient way to
interact with programs and advertisements while they continue to watch TV.
With a simple click of the remote control, viewers can request more
information such as product videos, samples, coupons and other free offers
from advertisers or make purchases instantly.
"Wink gives Thane a tool to immediately impact the marketing efforts for
their established suite of products," said Steve Carmassi, Vice President of
Advertising, Wink. "By offering a direct call to action on their
advertisements, Thane is able to establish an instant dialog with viewers and
offer an extra level of convenience that cannot be offered through a

when and where their ads have aired and be able to analyze the messages and
creatives that are driving the most interaction and response."
