WisEngineering Awarded $50 Million Contract by Tactical Effects Protection and Interactive Technologies Directorate

PICATINNY ARSENAL, N.J., Aug. 10, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- WisEngineering is pleased to announce that it was awarded a $50 Million Indefinite Delivery / Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract by the Tactical Effects Protection and Interactive Technologies (TEPIT) Directorate to provide a range of technical support. The IDIQ contract has a five year period of performance. Some specific areas under this contract are as follows:

  • Software Process Improvement
  • Software Engineering
  • Asset Development
  • Product Training and Deployment
  • Project Management
  • System Engineering

The TEPIT Directorate is part of the U.S. Army Armament Research, Development, and Engineering Center (ARDEC); according to their website, they are "[r]ecognized as DoD's foremost provider of network lethality tactical fire control solutions, emergency management, force protection, interactive technologies and training for armament systems to equip, modernize and sustain the Joint Forces." WisEngineering has been providing a host of services to the TEPIT Directorate under several other contract vehicles.  Specific projects include:

  • Graphics, Interactive Technologies, and Multimedia (GITM): Development of 3D interactive training systems for a range of tasks pertaining to weapon systems and Army processes.
  • Keystone: Software development to link together disparate Emergency Management and Force Protection systems through information sharing protocols.
  • Fire Control Systems: Varied support for Fire Control enhancements including distributed fires, radar integration, and others.
