For the first quarter of 2001, Wanadoo posted consolidated revenues of
314.1 million euros. Wanadoo does not have any comparable figures available
for the first quarter of 2000, since its results were first consolidated on
 June 30, 2000.

     Internet Access, Portals and E-Merchant
Access, Portals and e-Merchant generated 132.5 million euros of revenues
in the first quarter of 2001, a slight decrease from the fourth quarter of
 2000.
Revenues for the Access activity grew 14 percent compared to the fourth
quarter of 2000 (excluding Freeserve, growth was 7.5 percent). The decrease in
revenues from Portals reflects two factors : the consolidation of a full year
revenues (19 million euros) from FIT Production in the fourth quarter of 2000,
and a slowdown in the online advertising market since mid-December.
International activities represented 22% of the total consolidated
revenues of the segment in the first quarter of 2001.

     * In the Internet Access business, Wanadoo recorded a sharp rise in the
number of active subscribers. Wanadoo now has nearly five million active
subscribers, with over 2.145 million in France and 645,000 in Belgium,
Morocco, Spain and the Netherlands under the Wanadoo brand.
2.149 million Freeserve customers contribute to nearly half of the total
       customer base.

-- The number of customers having chosen Wanadoo ADSL high-speed
Internet service grew 75% (from 54,874 at the end of December 2000 to
96,076 at the end of March 2001).

-- The percentage of customers chosing Freeserve's unlimited access
increased from 18.7% at the end of December 2000 to 23.2% at
          March 31, 2001.

     * Audience levels rose substantially for Wanadoo and Freeserve portals and
theme sites, topping 1.103 billion pages viewed during March 2001. In
March 2001, Wanadoo had a coverage rate of 64.9 percent in France
(source : Nielsen Netratings), Freeserve. had a coverage rate of
30.3 percent in the UK (source : MMXI). In Spain, the rate was 13.7% in
March 2001 (source : Nielsen Netratings).

     * In the e-Merchant business, Alapage continued to expand. With a coverage
rate of 7.7 percent in March 2001 (source : MMXI), the brand is now
number two in France for online sales of books and entertainment
products. Alapage recorded 38,500 orders in March 2001.

     Directories and Business Services
Directories (paper, Minitel and Internet) and Business Services (site
hosting, custom website creation, secure online payment solutions) had
consolidated revenues of 181.4 million euros for the first quarter of 2001.
For information, advertising in paper directories is a very seasonal
activity and business is generally much stronger in the second half-year
 period.
The decrease in revenues from Business Services reflects the consolidation
of a full year of revenues from TRIEL in the fourth quarter of 2000.

     * The web version of Pages Jaunes experienced sustained growth. The top
website in Europe in terms of audience, pagesjaunes.fr, had
155,000 advertisers and 67 million pages viewed in March 2001.

     * The number of sites hosted continued to rise, climbing from 43,000 at
