SAN ANTONIO, Texas, Nov. 1, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Women Give Back is a 501c3 non-profit organization dedicated to giving back to the San Antonio community. WGB was founded with the mission of inspiring the next generation of women leaders in both business and our community as a whole. Through its bold and energetic fundraising campaigns, WGB has reinvested thousands of dollars back into the Greater San Antonio area. Founded by business leaders Christy Prescott, Trudy Madan, Deborah Bauer, and Cathy Amato, Women Give Back was created to encourage philanthropic generosity among women leaders who felt they needed to give back to a community that has supported them throughout their ventures. These four, pioneering women saw a crucial niche that was not being filled by the current not-for-profit environment in San Antonio. Their vision was to create a philanthropic organization that would resist the ebbs and flows of fashionability in favor of mission-focused development and financial stability.
Women Give Back participates in myriad events both around the Alamo City and beyond. From advocacy for at-risk animals to support for women and children in need, WGB is proud to contribute to the vibrant and generous community that is San Antonio. Our home may be here in Texas, but our passion for giving back knows no bounds.
