World Internet Technologies, Inc. Launches Broadband Wireless Network And Releases First Quarter 2001 Earnings From Subsidiary

Apr 25, 2001, 01:00 ET from World Internet Technologies, Inc.

PALM SPRINGS, Calif., April 25 /PRNewswire/ -- World Internet Online, Inc.
(WIO, formerly Top2Net, Inc.) a fully owned subsidiary of World Internet
Technologies, Inc. (OTC: WORI) began offering wireless broadband service in
the Palm Springs area this week. WIO is now taking orders for service in the
areas covered by the first segment of the network. "We have now made high
reliability broadband access affordable in the Coachella Valley. We are
excited about the response we are getting from customers. Many customers are
amazed to find out that we can often have connectivity live to their location
within a few days in comparison to many weeks with other alternatives," said
Mr. Michael McKinsey, President of WIO. "We offer better than T1 speeds,
along with an included firewall, unlimited E-mail accounts, and web hosting,
all at less than just the local loop charges cost in the past. Business
customers are also pleasantly surprised to see our Service Level Agreement
(SLA) that assures their service will always be available. A high
availability SLA is something that is just not available from other providers
for products in this price range. Nobody in this valley can match the value
of these new packages," added Mr. McKinsey.
Earnings were announced for first quarter 2001. WIO showed $110,098 in
total sales, down from $301,107 in first quarter 2000 primarily due to a
one-time fee of $225,000 received in first quarter 2000. Setting aside the
one time $225,000 fee, income shown would be an increase of more than
44 percent from first quarter 2000.
WIO expects to see substantial increases as 2001 progresses due to the
public offering of products on its new fixed broadband wireless network.
