
Worldwide Advocates in Women's Health Unite to Raise Awareness for Endometriosis - the Unrecognized Disease
Global March to Bring Awareness and Hope to Women with Endometriosis and their Families
PALO ALTO, Calif., Feb. 20, 2014 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- The Million Women March for Endometriosis will take place on March 13, 2014 in more than 56 countries to raise awareness for the international women's health crisis of endometriosis. It is a potentially crippling disease that affects millions of women worldwide but receives little attention and negligible funding for research into its cause and potential preventative treatments.
In Washington, DC, the EndoMarch will take place at noon on the National Mall with prominent speakers as well as a group of internationally recognized doctors and health advocates.
