"I'm looking forward to competing on behalf of Younessi Racing in the MRS McLaren," said Rodin Younessi. "I was able to compete in the McLaren MP4-12C GT3 at 24hr of Dubai a few months ago, and was very impressed with the car's performance. I anticipate good results with my teammates."
Blancpain Endurance Series, the world's best supported GT series, is set to return for the 2013 racing season beginning at Monza on April 13-14. The five-date 2013 series also takes place at Silverstone (June 1-2), Paul Ricard (June 29-30), the prestigious 24 hours of Spa-Francorchamps (July 24-28), and the season finale, Nurburgring 1000km (September 21-22).

In addition to private testing at Hockenheimring in Germany, he worked with the factory race simulator at the McLaren Technology Center in the UK, to prepare for the upcoming season.
From a young age, Younessi gained significant experience in the motorsports industry, starting with motorcycle racing, which eventually led into open-wheel and sports car racing. He has competed in the USF2000 National Championship in the series' National Class, as well as the F2000 Championship Series. In 2012, he formed his own team, Younessi Racing, and competed in the Firestone Indy Lights series as the first owner-driver of the series. He also competed in a Performance Tech Prototype Challenge Car at the 2012 ALMS Grand Prix of Baltimore.
