HANGZHOU, China, Nov. 1, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- The eastern Chinese province of Zhejiang has announced the launch of its official English language website and Facebook page, aimed at providing a window to the outside world for one of the most vibrant and diverse provinces in all of China.
Both platforms will provide a fresh and international perspective on the most up-to-date news and information about the province as well as stunning photos of what is unquestionably one of China's most picturesque regions. The sites show the world that Zhejiang is a fantastic place to live, visit, learn about culture, and do business.
The website and Facebook page, for example, served as important communication channels during the recent G20 summit held in Hangzhou, Zhejiang's capital and most populous city, while the next big thing on the Zhejiang calendar is the third edition of the World Internet Conference which will be held in the ancient water town of Wuzhen from November 16 to 18 and is set to welcome internet industry leaders and experts including Jack Ma, chairman of ecommerce giant Alibaba.
By following the two platforms, people interested in these and the many other events taking place in Zhejiang are able to stay up to date with things such as the schedule, speakers and leading discussion topics.
The Facebook page will additionally focus on other areas including food, culture, travel and business, and photography with the aim of increasing knowledge of and exposure to Zhejiang on a global scale.
