Nation's Largest Publisher of Gaming Magazines Taps Veteran Journalists

    SAN FRANCISCO, April 23 /PRNewswire Interactive News Release/ -- Ziff
 Davis Media Game Group, the largest publisher of gaming magazines in the
 nation, has named new editors-in-chief for two of its category-leading
 publications.  Dan Hsu will now oversee Electronic Gaming Monthly, while Jeff
 Green will step up to the lead editorial position for Computer Gaming World.
 In these roles, the two are responsible for the editorial content and the
 day-to-day operations of the respective magazines, and serve as the main
 spokespersons for their brands.
     Dan "Shoe" Hsu began with Electronic Gaming Monthly magazine in 1996 as an
 associate reviews editor and worked his way up to the dual responsibility of
 lead editor for EGM's monthly "Previews" section and editor-in-chief of the
 Game Group's annual Video Game Buyer's Guide.  After a brief stint away from
 EGM as editor-in-chief of Gamers.com, Hsu is returning to the gaming magazine
 as its editor-in-chief.
    John Davison, editor-in-chief of Official U.S. PlayStation Magazine had
 been temporarily overseeing the editorial operations of Electronic Gaming
 Monthly as acting editor-in-chief.  Davison will now return full time to the
 Official U.S. PlayStation Magazine.
     Computer Gaming World's new editor-in-chief, Jeff Green is a Ziff Davis
 veteran. For his first five years at Ziff Davis, he held editorial positions
 at Ziff-Davis Press and MacWEEK magazine.  Green has been with CGW for the
 last five years.  Most recently, he was the magazine's executive editor,
 working with former editor-in-chief, George Jones.  Jones has left CGW to
 spearhead the Game Group's Internet initiative as editor-in-chief.
