LINCOLN, Mass., April 26, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Applied BioMath (www.appliedbiomath.com), the industry-leader in applying mechanistic modeling to drug development, is pleased to announce the third and final QSP-SB Industry and Academia Symposium of the 2015-2016 academic year will expand to include an inaugural poster session, sponsored by Pfizer Inc.
The QSP-SB Industry & Academia Symposium focuses on bringing together top industry and academic leaders to present, learn, and discuss topics relevant to quantitative systems pharmacology (QSP) and systems biology (SB). Prior symposia have featured keynotes from elite biotechnology and pharmaceutical professionals as well as networking opportunities for attendees. To meet an increased demand for opportunities to share research in this field, a poster session has been incorporated, with cash prizes provided by Pfizer Inc.
"The overwhelmingly positive way in which this Symposium has been received confirms the need for a series such as this one, to share information amongst leaders in this field. The addition of the poster session, in collaboration with Pfizer, will further serve to foster the QSP-SB community and provide a way to share cutting-edge research."
