AUSTIN, Texas, March 6, 2019 /PRNewswire/ -- Intiva Health—a company known for creating the first distributed career and credential platform for health professionals—announced today the appointment of John T. Hartigan as chief executive officer. Hartigan brings over 25 years of experience leading early-stage startups through strategic partnerships with many Fortune 500 companies, including Comcast, Fiat Chrysler, DHL and Dish.
Previously Intiva Health's executive vice president, Hartigan led the company's go-to-market strategy, securing partnerships with major technology, cryptocurrency, and healthcare organizations, including American Heart Association, American Stroke Association and National Osteoporosis Foundation.
"I'm honored and excited to continue the cutting-edge work that has already been completed by this exceptional organization," Hartigan said. "We have the brightest minds in tech, healthcare and business coming together to fundamentally change a multibillion dollar problem, redirecting those resources to improve patient care."
Hartigan will begin his new role as CEO as the company anticipates the launch of Ready Doc™, a credential notarization solution built on Swirlds' Hashgraph distributed ledger technology (DLT). The release will mark a new chapter for the company, since it's expected to be the fastest, most secure platform available for managing professional healthcare information—speeding up the credentialing process from months to seconds.
According to Alexander C. Candelario, Intiva Health's president, there's no better person than Hartigan to lead this new chapter.
"From the start, John's expertise in strategic business development has helped us build the critical partnerships that have fueled our rapid growth," Candelario said. "He has the right mix of business judgment and technical knowledge to continue to position Intiva Health as a disruptor in the healthcare technology sector."
