Indian prime minister's comments support Raelian claims of ancient genetic science
LAS VEGAS, Oct. 30, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- In a recent speech given at a Mumbai hospital, India's prime minister, Narendra Modi, gave the examples of Karna, an ancient warrior, and Ganesha, an elephant-headed Hindu deity, to support his view that advanced scientists existed in India thousands of years ago.
"Prime Minister Modi referred to ancient knowledge of stem cells, cosmetic surgery and reproductive genetics," said Brigitte Boisselier, PhD, spokesperson of the International Raelian Movement (IRM). "This Hindu version of our past thus supports our Raelian philosophy, which states that our ancestors were in contact with the extraterrestrial scientists who created us thousands of years ago."
Boisselier explained that these advanced scientist-creators shared some of their knowledge with our ancestors.
"But that knowledge slowly disappeared until we collectively reached the stage where we could reproduce that level of science," she said.
She went on to quote some of Modi's comments:
"…. We realize that the Mahabharata says Karna was not born from his mother's womb," Modi said. "That means genetic science was present at that time, which is why Karna could be born outside his mother's womb."
"He [Modi] was describing reproductive genetics and human cloning, some of the advanced scientific knowledge described by our creators, the Elohim, to Rael, spiritual leader of the Raelian Movement, over 40 years ago," Boisselier said. "The Elohim told Rael then that we were close to attaining scientific knowledge that would help us understand the truth: our creators are not almighty gods, but human beings having the same scientific techniques we would master very soon.
Boisselier then quoted Modi's reference to ancient astronomical knowledge:
"If we talk about space science, our ancestors had, at some point, displayed great strengths in space science," Modi said. "What people like Aryabhata said centuries ago is being recognized by science today."
"Hinduism was the first philosophy in humanity's history to report the contact ancient people had with the advanced scientists who created all forms of life on Earth," Boisselier said. "It's important that, for the first time, an Indian prime minister has dared to endorse our claim that advanced science was practiced on Earth thousands of years ago. He has contributed greatly to a primary Raelian mission: demystification of all so-called gods and showing who they really were: human beings with advanced knowledge."
