SHANGHAI, July 13, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- In 2011, the global offshore engineering equipment orders has amounted to 69 billion RMB, an increase of 130% to 2010, which is a promising market prospect in the development of offshore oil and gas exploration, mining equipment field. May 7, 2012, the Ministry of Industry officially announced that the government made it clear that China will step up efforts to the cultivation of offshore engineering equipment, including high-end equipment manufacturing, and promote the "Made in China" to "Created in China". It is predicted that in 2015, Chinese mineral development equipment sales revenue will reach 200 billion RMB, accounting for 20% of the market share of international market; in 2020, the sales revenue will reach 200 billion RMB, accounting for 35% of the international market.

Offshore Engineering China Conference 2012 will launch on 25-26 September in Shanghai, China, organized by UBM. This conference aims at exploring the forefront of subsea exploration technology, and promoting trade exchanges and cooperation between business partners. The first day will discuss the development trend of oil and gas industry in the South China Sea, as well as offshore platform structure strategy; the second day will introduce subsea production technology, shipyard applications and future trend. All participants will have an opportunity of expanding business relations and get a transparent interpretation of the future market trends.
