The foundation for Marcel's design was created in collaboration with the @glo.germany Instagram community. Their everyday moments were initially inspired by Marten Hørger's track " Daily Commute". Danii Pollehn captured the rhythm and mood of the track and developed an artwork from it. Marcel then took this result and translated it into an exclusive garment using his own design language.
When inspiration becomes fashion
Marcel's creative journey began with experimentation: discovering materials, recombining ideas, and finding out what new form could emerge from them—this evokes feelings of happiness in him. "Even a simple fabric can give rise to design dreams that inspire."
This positive outlook on creativity connects him to the "glass half full" mindset of "Feel your glo™". The idea behind this is to simply take a benevolent look at seemingly monotonous routines and thus discover new creative impulses in the ordinary. The @glo.germany Instagram community was also an important part of his creative journey. They contributed new perspectives, provided feedback, and influenced the final product. This exchange was particularly appealing to the designer: "Connecting with other creatives and the community and creating pieces together is incredibly exciting and celebrates collaboration."
From artwork to fashion statement
For this fashion piece, Marcel takes the previous influences of Marten Hørger and Danii Pollehn and incorporates them into his own design language, creating a wearable statement.
The result was unveiled this past weekend: a reversible blouson in shades of green and blue. It combines Marcel's fashion sense, Dani's art, and the musical influences from Marten's "Daily Commute." With the presentation of this final fashion piece, this year's " Feel your glo™" campaign reaches its inspiring conclusion. The community's input sparked a creative journey that spanned sound, art, and fashion, impressively demonstrating how everyday moments can give rise to new perspectives, creative collaborations, and extraordinary ideas.
