Enigma Securities Hires Wilfred Daye as New Managing Director to Coordinate U.S. Expansion
NEW YORK, March 3, 2020 /PRNewswire/ -- Enigma Securities ("Enigma"), a leading cryptocurrency liquidity provider focused on electronic execution services and affiliate of Makor Group ("Makor"), is pleased to announce its hire of Mr. Wilfred Daye, who will be joining as the firm's newly appointed Managing Director, where he will oversee Enigma's ongoing U.S. expansion.

Mr. Daye joins Enigma, bringing with him 20 years of experience working with digital and traditional financial assets. Prior to Enigma, he worked as Head of Financial Markets at global crypto exchange OKCoin and was further CEO for OKCoin Securities LLC.
Mr. Daye began his career as an analyst on the Commercial Mortgage-Backed Securities desk at Lehman Brothers. In subsequent years, he moved on to work in multiple banks – as a senior quant and portfolio manager for credit trading at D.B. Zwirn and Barclays Capital, and a senior quantitative analyst for structured credit products at Deutsche Bank. Daye worked his way to the role of Executive Director and Trader for Structured Financial Products at UBS, where his responsibilities included trading, portfolio construction and risk management of securitized products.
In 2016, Mr. Daye joined the FinTech space as the Managing Director and member of the Executive Committee of PeerIQ, a data science company serving the Marketplace Lending industry, where he led a team specialized in the research and development of machine-learning algorithms. His experience further includes serving as President, Senior Portfolio Manager and member of the Executive Committee at Noble International Capital before joining OKCoin.
