The deal, worth millions of shekels is for the supply of rechargeable batteries in record time as part of the international efforts to minimize the damage of possible second wave of Coronavirus expected during the upcoming fall season.
BEIT SHEMESH, Israel, June 3, 2020 /PRNewswire/ -- Epsilor Electric Fuel, a globally recognized developer and manufacturer of smart batteries and chargers, was chosen to provide thousands of rechargeable lithium batteries, worth millions of Israeli shekels, to a Israeli manufacturer of automatic ventilation machines, as part the fight against the Coronavirus (COVID-19).
The batteries are being provided to a medical device company in record time of several weeks, as part of the efforts to improve readiness ahead of possible outbreak of a second wave of the Corona pandemic.
Portable batteries are a critical component of ventilation machines. Although critical care ventilators are usually connected to the electricity, the battery serves as a backup in case of a possible power shortage, or if there is a need to move the patient, while he is connected to the machine.
