Foretellix Appoints Moshe Gavrielov to Its Board of Directors to Help Accelerate Autonomous Vehicle Safety
Former Xilinx CEO brings decades of experience building successful public and private companies
TEL AVIV, Israel and SUNNYVALE, California, Feb. 27, 2019 /PRNewswire/ -- Foretellix, a high profile Israeli based start-up automating the verification and measurable safety of autonomous vehicles (AVs), today announced the appointment of Moshe Gavrielov to its Board of Directors. Moshe recently served as the President and CEO of Xilinx, where he drove the company through a broad strategic and operational transformation resulting in a significant market cap expansion approaching a valuation of $20B. Today he serves as a Member of the TSMC BOD Compensation Committee and the Executive Chairman of the Board of Wind River Systems, a TPG Company.
Moshe previously served as executive vice president and general manager of the verification division at Cadence Design Systems. Before that, he was CEO of Verisity, Ltd., where he drove the company's emergence from a small private entity, through a successful NASDAQ IPO, delivering ongoing profitable top and bottom-line growth leading to the eventual acquisition by Cadence for $315M.
