CAESAREA, Israel, July 30, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- A novel treatment model for overweight and obesity using the Epitomee capsule device was presented at the IsraeLIVE Endoscopy International 2018 - "Endoscopy and Your Practice" & The Israeli Association of Gastroenterology and Liver Diseases Semi-Annual Meeting, held on June 26, 2018.
The treatment paradigm is based on a dose of two capsules a day. Each capsule contains one biodegradable device that acts on the stomach for several hours before it dissolves. The treatment is intended for an overweight and slightly obese population (BMI 25-35) who seeks effective, easy and safe assistance in losing their extra weight.
