Via Surgical Receives FDA Clearance for Its FasTouch™ Absorbable Fixation System
AMIRIM, Israel, March 18, 2019 /PRNewswire/ -- Via Surgical Ltd, a leading developer of surgical fixation solutions, today announced U.S. Food and Drug Administration 510(k) clearance of the FasTouch™ Absorbable Fixation System. The FasTouch™ enables for the first time an automated lockable surgical mesh fixation that is strong and stable yet easily and consistently delivered.
The FasTouch Absorbable Fixation System is intended for fixation of prosthetic material to soft tissues in various minimally invasive and open surgical procedures such as hernia repairs.
