1st Edition of Odisha Kids Fashion Tour 2017, Initiated by Goodwaves Entertainment

Odisha Kids Fashion Tour is an initiative of Goodwaves Entertainment LLP. This is a new kind of event in Odisha Fashion market which is totally dedicated for kids. This is the first edition of the event and it's been decided to be a yearly affair. This year, the event is going to take place in the prestigious Doon International School, Bhubaneswar from November 10^th till 12th. Apart from the host school, the event will also cover students of 60 schools from Bhubaneswar, Cuttack and Puri.

In this event, the students and their parents get an opportunity to know various aspects of the fashion industry. The event is been divided into two parts, one is the seminar for students above class 9 and second is a 2-day runway event. In the seminar, students will gain knowledge about the fashion industry and clear there doubts by interacting with the experts. In the 2-day runway event, there will be 10 rounds of fashion parade of 15 minutes, each comprising of 25-28 student models per round. These models will be students selected from various schools. With this, there will be various entertainment programs from well know national artists. The show will be cherishing by various celebrities from Bollywood and Ollywood industry. There will be daily live viewership of more than 3,000 people for this show. The show will also be televised on a popular channel of Odisha to reach maximum audiences.

The seminar will be held on 10th November where eminent speakers comprising of famous experienced Designer Agnimitra Paul (Fashion Designer, Kolkata), Prof. Sanjay Srivastava (Director NIFT, Bhubaneswar), Alakananda Roy (Modeling & Fashion Socialist, Kolkata), Dr. Nanda Nandan Mahapatra (Textile, Ahmadabad), Nivedita Prasad (Motivational Speaker, New Delhi) and Actor cum Producer, Pupinder Singh (Film, Bhubaneswar). These speakers will narrate their experience from the fashion industry and will also explain students, the benefits and career and professional scope in the fashion industry. This seminar is mainly for students above class 9. This seminar is also beneficial for continuing fashion designing students as well.

Currently for audition, Goodwaves Entertainment is taking online registration of students and parents at their website OKFT.in . The last date for Audition is 10th of October, 2017. Posters of event audition had already been sent to all schools of Bhubaneswar. From the audition prospective, models will be selected as per the requirement of Designers and Brands.

The show will also witness Designer Sumit Dasgupta from Mumbai, who will be showcasing his collection at this event. Online apparel brand wearswadeshi.com , who deals with handloom and art-based apparels, is also launching kids' apparels through this platform. In coming days, many reputed designing house and designers will be confirming their participation in this show.

The main attraction of the runway shows will be Bollywood actress Rituparna Sengupta, who will be taking part as the Show Stopper in the show. On 11th November, there will be special Odissi performances from very popular and national fame artist, Avirup Sengupta and Troupe from Kolkata. There will be performance from Puppeteer and Stand-up comic artist, Hiren Trivedi, who will make people laugh a lot. Sushil Kharbanda who is famous for various comic charters and well known as Junior Gutthi will be performing in this event. There will be other famous dance troupe, rock band and singers performing in the show. The show will also have various Odisha folk dance forms. All this will make the show happening for the live audiences. As part of NGO activities, special kids from Prayas Foundation will be performing a motivational act.
