BEIJING, Dec. 5, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Air China Limited, or Air China for short, will introduce its Wuhan-Chiang Mai service on December 10. The twice-weekly flight CA705/6 will operate on Tuesday and Friday. Want to have first-hand experiences of the charming streets depicted in the 2013 Chinese box-office hit "Lost in Thailand"? Fly from Wuhan to Thailand on Air China.

Located in Thailand's northern mountainous region, Chiang Mai is Thailand's second-largest city, and also northern Thailand's political, economic and cultural center. This city, celebrated for its Buddhist traditions, boasts many historical and cultural sites and monuments. Though second only to the nation's capital city of Bangkok in terms of modernity, this "Rose of Northern Thailand", as it's often called, oozes unique charms not found in bustling Bangkok. The period from October to March is best for travel. There's a lot to do to keep your interest high – whizz around on a rented motorcycle, don an ethnic costume, chomp on a curry-flavored meal, get a Thai massage, wander through a temple, fly a sky lantern – "Lost in Thailand" can even be your guide.

After the introduction of Air China's Beijing-Chiang Mai service on November 7, the Wuhan-Chiang Mai service will further expand the carrier's Southeast Asian schedule, offering another easier travel option for passengers. It will tap into the huge travel market from Wuhan to Chiang Mai. It will also be a worthy addition to Air China's global route network, allowing passengers, especially those from east China, to make the transfer to Chiang Mai via Wuhan instead of via Beijing.
