DETROIT, Feb. 4, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Detroit-based Bassett & Bassett Communication Managers and Counselors has expanded globally with an Asia Pacific Operations office in Pune, India and Middle East representation in Beirut, Lebanon.
The Asia Pacific Operations office is led by former Detroit-based Bassett Vice President – Client Services and India native Vidya Moorthy. Moorthy starts with a staff of three and three India-based clients.
Former American Arab Chamber of Commerce head and internationally prominent Middle East-American business executive Nasser M. Beydoun is now Managing Director Middle East, in addition to Vice President – Multicultural Marketing. Beydoun is a Lebanon-born US citizen.

Beydoun was previously CEO of Qatar-based Wataniya Restaurants, Inc, in which he built, opened and operated 40 restaurants in the Middle East, representing 19 international brands. He was named Michiganian of the Year by the Detroit News in 2006 for his work building economic bridges between the Middle East and Michigan.
