Coldwell Banker India Launches Agent Affiliate Network

MUMBAI, February 1, 2018 /PRNewswire/ --

Coldwell Banker India, the Indian subsidiary of US-based Coldwell Banker Real Estate LLC, has launched its own agent affiliate network. The company is tying up with individuals irrespective of their fields as an agent and giving them an alternate or primary source of income. In this model, the company will be training these individuals on all the aspects of real estate, making them independent to conduct their own business.

"The agent affiliate network is a tried and tested model across the world by Coldwell Banker with 88,000 agents and 3,000 offices in 49 countries. The success stories are amazing. With RERA coming into effect, this is the right time to launch this model in India. Realtor is an occupation desired by many for its flexible working hours and high income. We are trying to replicate the same model in India," said Ramnik Chopra, MD - Coldwell Banker India.

Coldwell Banker India has its own training department that is directly associated with the Coldwell Banker University, which is used worldwide for attaining expertise in the real estate sector.

The pilot model proved to be successful where individuals from different industries joined as affiliates and were trained on different skills required to run the brokerage business in India. The training is divided into two sets, first, consisting of classroom training followed by actual field work, which gives individuals hands-on experience. Most of the affiliates achieved success from the first month of training and are doing good business so far.

This model can be compared to the many successful aggregator businesses which includes the cab businesses.
