Crown Worldwide Group Opens Branch in Sri Lanka

HONG KONG, Oct. 8, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Crown Worldwide Group, the world's largest privately-held group of international logistics and related services companies, is pleased to announce the opening of a new branch in Sri Lanka. As part of an on-going strategy to increase presence in this region, Crown will provide an enhanced level of support to our clients in this country.

Situated in Wattala, near Colombo, it's the eleventh branch in the South Asia region. Crown has been operating here for the last 17 years covering Mumbai, New Delhi, Bangalore, Chennai, Kolkata, Hyderabad, Pune, Ludhiana, Ahmedabad and Coimbatore. The new office will encourage deeper engagement with clients such as, governments, corporations, diplomats and private customers with the need for global mobility, transportation of household goods, departure and destination services, business information storage and high value warehousing. The Colombo branch shall act as a hub to service neighbouring island nations of Maldives, Mauritius and Seychelles.

The Sri Lanka branch will be opening on the 16th of October with an interactive session led by Srinivas Krishnan and Paul Sullivan, Regional Managing Director.
