D-Link Ethernet Surge Protectors Beat Competitors in Surge Test

TAIPEI, Taiwan, Oct. 16, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- D-Link today announced that the DPE-SP110 and DPE-SP110I Ethernet Surge Protectors passed the IEC61643-21 and ITU-T K.21 Surge Tests. Testing was conducted by Nlightning Technology Co., Ltd. on surge protector devices from 10 different manufacturers. Only D-Link's two surge protector devices passed the surge test, proving their effectiveness in preventing damage to network equipment caused by sudden electrical surges and electrostatic discharges.
The DPE-SP110 and DPE-SP110I Surge Protectors have a durable metal design for reliable protection. The DPE-SP110 is equipped with a water-resistant, IP66-rated robust case, and its RJ45 ports are enclosed by water-proof lids for enhanced outdoor protection. Both surge protectors feature higher surge capability and lower clamping voltage, as the 10kA Impulse Discharge Current ensures stable protection. They also support a wide range of operating temperatures from -40 to 75 degrees Celsius. The DPE-SP110 and DPE-SP110I are ideal for deployment where PoE passthrough and high bandwidth are required since they offer high speed PoE connectivity at rates of up to 1000 Mbps. They are also easy to use and install with Plug and Play and no software required. Additionally, a built-in failure indicator allows users to easily keep track of its condition.
