The launch of HALC in the North East underlines DCBL's strategy of growth in the region. The recent acquisitions of Meghalaya-based Adhunik Cement and an increase in stake to 76%, in Assam based Calcom Cement, have given DCBL a strong foothold in the region. In the month of March 2013, DCBL dispatched 110412 MT of cement (79785 MT from Meghalaya and 30627 MT from Assam) through its subsidiaries.
