Trianz, a global consulting and turnkey execution services firm, announced the appointment of Dr. A. L. Rao as the Chief Mentor and Head - IT Services. He will retain his current role as a board member. In this role, Dr. Rao will oversee entire IT services operations and mentor all practice leads.

Dr. Rao has driven successful initiatives serving in leadership roles during his career. He has been a pioneer in the transformation of Wipro from a start-up to a highly respected global firm. During his 30 years association with Wipro, he has held responsibilities that spanned various business units, CIO and CTO functions as well as sales and operations across Japan and China geographies. He assumed the position of the COO in 2005 and retired as an Advisor to Wipro in 2009. Among other accomplishments are his keynote speech at the 2nd World Congress on Software Quality and his guest speeches at Project Management Conferences held in Japan and the US.
