Alessandra was a glamourous surprise addition to last night's star-studded fashion show, taking to the catwalk and dazzling in a beautiful CÎROC luxury vodka inspired dress. The CÎROC Utopia dress was designed exclusively for Alessandra by the legendary designer, tipping it as one of the hottest party looks to be seen in this year.
Julien Macdonald's cutting-edge designs for SS18 thrilled onlookers with a 'parallel universe' concept. The new collection juxtaposes Julien's iconic, signature silhouettes with a futuristic, streamlined glamour. High-voltage, form-fitting pieces in molten shades of gold, silver, black and pewter interspersed with flashes of scarlet, ombre sapphire blue and yellow, transport guests to a modern Utopia. An array of intricate beadwork, crystal mesh and lace appear on liquid sheath dresses, knitted catsuits and sports enhanced separates like an other worldly, embellished second skin. Nocturnal foliage motifs appear on flowing silk chiffon recalling the designer's trip to the Amazonian rainforest and resulting in a captivating fashion experience in the heart of London.
Earlier in the evening Alessandra joined guests of CÎROC vodka for an exclusive pre-show reception. Following the stellar display of models and show stopping looks, Alessandra took to the catwalk in the ultimate party dress to surprise the packed crowd of key media, celebrities and industry figures and reminded them why she is one of the world's most in demand supermodels. Julien joined her on the catwalk and the pair celebrated one of the most vibrant moments of the London fashion season so far in a spectacular mist of metallic confetti as they closed the electric show.
