Scrabble World Champion Nigel Richards to Participate in a Word Duel With Over 100 Scrabble Players From all Over the Globe at the Event

To be held at iGATE's Bangalore campus from Jan 9th to Jan 12th, 2014, this tournament will witness more than 40 international players from over 17 countries vying for the top spot and total prize money of INR 9 lakhs.

The participants will play in three divisions - Premier, Open and Newbie in a grueling 35-game competition."
The highlight of the tournament will be the scrabble world champion Nigel Richards participating in a word duel with over 100 scrabble players from different countries.
Finals of the inter-corporate and inter-collegiate versions of the Scrabble tournament will be held on Jan 12th alongside the international tournament.
As a curtain raiser to the decennial event, India's scrabble champion, and World number nine - Sherwin Rodrigues will play against 10 players simultaneously, on Jan 8th at the iGATE Bangalore campus.
