IIT Mandi Launches Certificate Course in Finite Element Methods for Engineering Applications on WizIQ.com

The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Mandi, announces the launch of a short-term Certified Finite Element Method for Engineering Application course (FEMEA) starting from July 1, 2013. The course is being conducted at IIT Mandi campus as well as online through the leading eLearning website, www.WizIQ.com.

The objective of the course is to introduce Finite Element Method (FEM) to the participants and to enable them to apply FEM to solve problems in different engineering disciplines viz stress analysis, fluid flow, heat transfer, and vibrations applications. The participants will be familiarized with the programming techniques utilized in implementing FEM.

Students from engineering institutes/colleges/polytechnics can attend Live online classes of this course through WizIQ Virtual Classroom. WizIQ enables them to view the lectures, learn the element analysis and its applications all Live, as it happens.

The short term course will start on July 1, 2013, and end on July 5, 2013.
