कोर्निंग ने 5,499 रु. में कोर्निंग गोरिल्ला ग्लास युक्त पहला मिलिटरी ग्रेड स्मार्टफोन की घोषणा की

मुंबई, भारत, 7 जनवरी, 2021 /PRNewswire/ -- आज कोर्निंग इनकॉर्पोरेटेड (NYSE: GLW) ने घोषणा की, कि लावा भारत का पहला मोबाईल डिवाईस निर्माता है, जो 5,499 रु में मिलिट्री ग्रेड स्मार्टफोन - कोर्निंग गोरिल्ला ग्लास 3 के साथ प्रस्तुत कर रहा है । 22 जनवरी को रिलीज़ होने वाला यह Z1 स्मार्टफोन लावा की हाल ही में लॉन्च किए गए डिवाईसेस की नई सीरीज़ का हिस्सा है, जिसर्में Z2, Z4 और Z6 स्मार्टफोन भी हैं। यह सभी स्मार्टफोन गोरिल्ला ग्लास 3 युक्त है और कई भारतीय उपभोक्ताओं के लिए फीचर फोन से स्मार्टफोन में जाने के लिए प्रवेश का अवसर प्रदान करता हैं।
2013 में लॉन्च किया गया गोरिल्ला ग्लास 3 ज्यादा डैमेज़ रेसिस्टेंट ग्लास है और अन्य निर्माताओं के प्रतियोगी एलुमिनोसिलिकेट ग्लास की तुलना में स्क्रैच रज़िस्टैंस में 4 गुना सुधार प्रस्तुत करता है। गोरिल्ला ग्लास 3 कोर्निंग के सबसे ज्यादा बिकने वाले डिवाईस ग्लासेस में से एक है।

अपने लेटेस्ट Z सीरीज़ के स्मार्टफोंस में गोरिल्ला ग्लास का उपयोग करने के अलावा, लावा पिछले चार सालों से अपने विस्तृत पोर्टफोलियो में गोरिल्ला ग्लास का उपयोग करता आ रहा है, जिसमें इसके सबसे ज्यादा बिकने वाले Z81 एव Z61 मॉडल भी हैं।
लावा Z1 भारतीय इंजीनियरों द्वारा इंडस्ट्रियल डिज़ाईन से लेकर हार्डवेयर एवं सॉफ्टवेयर तक पूरी तरह भारत में डिज़ाईन किया गया है। Z1 की जाँच के लिए MIL-STD-810H* का इस्तेमाल किया है। लावा 2018 में 'भारत में डिज़ाईन किया गया' फीचर फोन लॉन्च करने वाला पहला ब्रांड था।
