Lavelle Networks announces the availability of their CloudPort SD-WAN software appliance right inside a native Windows environment, using NFV (Network Function Virtualization) technology. Microsoft Windows is the dominant platform in consumer touchpoint locations - retail, healthcare and telemedicine. SD-WAN is an immense technology platform for connecting such locations to their cloud, without the need for any networking hardware appliance.

The location shows up in CloudStation , which is the Lavelle Networks SD-WAN orchestrator just like the regular CloudPort hardware appliances.
All forms of policies, VPN, QoS, Security is applied and controlled in the same manner. Even the network monitoring works identical to using an independent CloudPort hardware appliance .
