The exhibition was inaugurated by actor Zayed Khan and Dr. Mukesh Batra. The proceeds of the event will be donated to Victoria Memorial School for The Blind - an institution for children with visual impairment. The photographs were displayed in Bangalore, Hyderabad, Dubai and now Mumbai.
It was also attended by Pankaj Udhas, Nafisa Ali, Paramjeet Singh, Arzan Khambatta, Barkha Roy, Nisha Jamval, Parvez Damania and Meera Borwankar.
Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Mukesh Batra said, "Although my first passion is medicine, I am completed by my second love, photography. To me it is a creative expression of my artistic bend of mind - a form of expressing myself, of reliving as well as cherishing my memories of wonderful places. My biggest inspiration is my cause - a good cause. This allows me to collect funds for the underprivileged. The proceeds will be donated to Victoria Memorial School for the Blind."
The exhibition featured the scenic wonders and spectacular view of the lakes, rivers and mountains of Switzerland transporting the audience to one of the most beautiful countries in Europe
Works from Dr Batra's previous exhibitions have adorned the Raj Bhavan in Mumbai, the Citigold Lounges at the Citibank offices of Mumbai and Delhi, the corporate office of Bajaj, the Tata archives as well as other prestigious offices and homes.
The photographs from the collection 'Magic Moments' will also be available for sale at all Dr Batra's clinics in Borivali, Chowpatty, Ghatkopar, Juhu, Kandivali, Khar, Lokhandwala, Mulund, Nariman point, Powai, Saki Naka and Santacruz.The prices begin from Rs.1000/- onwards.
