Microsemi Expands Engineering, Marketing and Sales Organization in India to Support Growth

- Company's New Facility Doubles Square Footage; Includes State-of-the-art Lab

HYDERABAD, India, Nov. 20, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Microsemi Corporation, a leading provider of semiconductor solutions differentiated by power, security, reliability and performance, today announced the opening of a new 45,000-square-foot facility in Hyderabad, India. The new building houses more than 155 employees including engineering teams, marketing, and a global customer and applications service center that provides support for the company's products. The new building is located on the 12th and 13th floors of Kapil Towers- IT Park, Survey No. 115/1, Nanakramguda, Serilingampally Mandal, Hyderabad 500032, Andhra Pradesh, India.

Microsemi's new building is nearly twice the size of the company's previous facility and features a state-of-the-art lab used for activities including device characterization, debugging and silicon validation. The facility is IS0 9001:2008 certified for meeting rigorous quality management standards for systems and processes. It is also in compliance with stringent AS9100 Rev C quality system requirements.
