Nuberg Engineering has been awarded USD 15 million Chlor Alkali EPC project by Al Ghaith Industries in Abu Dhabi. The project is for doubling Al Ghaith's caustic soda production capacity from 140 MTPD to 280 MTPD. Nuberg Engineering is already in the process of commissioning first phase of the EPC project for 140 MTPD capacity, worth USD 19 million. The new project is going to commence its production in Q1 of 2015 and aims to enhance the configuration by increasing the production to 280 metric tons of caustic soda per day. The plant shall also produce co-products like hydrochloric acid, sodium hypochlorite and calcium chloride to cater to the local and regional oil and gas industry.
