Nuberg has been chosen by National Fertilizers Limited, Panipat as the single point responsibility EPC & LSTK company for the first public sector sulphur bentonite plant project in India. The turnkey project plant will manufacture 25000 MTPA mix specialty chemical, sulphur bentonite. Sulphur bentonite is a new type of environment friendly fertilizer used in agriculture sector for better productivity and yield.

Nuberg has won the turnkey project contract amid the global competition. The company is among the niche global EPC & LSTK companies to have the capability to execute the specialty chemical project, from concept to commissioning. All heavy engineering equipments for the chemical plant will be fabricated and supplied from Nuberg's state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in Gujarat.
Nuberg's EPC (Engineering, Procurement and Construction) scope of work from concept to commissioning include process know-how, license and technology, technology, basic, FEED and detail engineering, fabrication, procurement and supply, construction and erection of all civil, mechanical, electrical and instrumentation works, installation, obtaining all necessary statutory approvals, testing, mechanical completion, pre-commissioning, commissioning, performance guarantee test run including total project management and handing over the plant on single point responsibility basis.
The chemicals and fertilizers minister of India Mr. Anant Kumar had recently announced three major projects in Haryana amongst which one was the unique sulphur bentonite plant in Panipat. The project of executing this unique fertilizer plant is yet another achievement to Nuberg's growing portfolio of worldwide EPC & LSTK projects.
